JPY

This marks a flip from new shorts last week. New longs and short covering while still net short, +12.8% of the book. Spot continued the buying from the report date close to the release close, +0.6%.

AUD

The book is a crowded long versus the prior 52 weeks. New longs and short covering while net long, +3.37% of the book. Spot continued the buying from the report date close to the release close, +0.3%.

CHF

New longs while still net short, +1.46% of the book.

NZD

The book is a crowded short versus the prior 52 weeks. New shorts while still net short, -2.99% of the book. This marks a flip from new longs and short covering last week. Spot did not continue the selling from the report date close to the release close; it moved the other way, +0.9%.

GBP

New shorts while still net short, -1.82% of the book.

EUR

New shorts while net long, -0.88% of the book.

Broad USD positioning saw long liquidation and new shorts. Index continued the selling from the report date close to the release close, -0.6%.

CAD posted the largest move with new longs and short covering while still net short.
JPY flipped from new shorts to new longs and short covering.
NZD added new shorts into a crowded short versus the prior 52 weeks.
